GONE BOWLING?

Yes... And so have I! But did you know how the resetting of the pins works? Check this How Stuff Works video,
And comment on how this happens! (Remember to list as many facts as possible!)

This is a compulsory post, due July 7th!

Hi Florence,
I cant believe 95000000 people go to play bowling all over the world! Some time ago teenagers used to reset the pins by hand, now a days there is a robot that does all this work this sistem is very fast. This roboy can sweep up and rack a set of pins in just 9.2 seconds! The pin ceter waits for its que, when the ball passes an electronic eye, a camera takes a pictures and sents the data to the score board. A belt sends the pins to the top of the machine where they drop into a metal tray called a "Turn around pin." They it goes to the distribuidor wheel. The A2 gets the ball back to the boller ASAP.The ball makes its way to an elevator and from there it rolls along in a down slope tunner as gravity sends it back to the play.
I didnt know all this, and I am surprised.

Hello miss Florence, this video tells you how the machines of the whole world, talnted for bowling. It says that before this robot in which I am going to talk about next was invented. People did this job. Now a days with the technology we have robots that work for us. 95.000.000 people all over the world play this game.
This robot:
1. It never stops working
2. Cheap to run
3. Fast
4. Doesn’t waste a lot of power
5. It has 4.000 moving parts

Pins:
1. 20 miles per hour
2. Made from hard rock

How it works:
When the ball passes an electronic eye, 2 things happen:
1. A relase Switch tells the agent to get busy
2. A camera snaps a picture and sends it to the score board.
The A2 locates the standing pins and snatches them up while a sweeper cleans the floor for the player to keep playing. The pins are plased in ther same way as the player had left them. Then the pins separte from the ball, a belt sends the pins to the top of the machine were they drop into a metal tray called a turn around pin. Then comes the final try for the player. The sweeper cleans every remaining pins. And them the next player comes.
Hope we win on Sunday!

Hi Florence
The video tells you about that 95.000.000 of people are going to play bowling all over the world. In other years ago the people that go there have to reset the pins by hand but now at days there isnt like that, there are many machines that can do it in only 9.2 seconds. Its incredible. When the bowling ball passes a little camera detected it and sends all the data to the score board computer. The pins are put in the sam way as the people that played had left them. Then the pins sepate from the bowling ball and a belt send the pins to the top of the machine were thty fall into a metal tray called a Turn Around Pin Machine. Then the A2 get the bowling ball back to the boller. The bowling ball goes threw a tunnel elevator and from there it goees along a down tunner and gravity take it back to the place for the players to get it and continue or start playing.
I liked to much watching this video cause I had learned a lot of things that I had never knew.

Hello Miss Florance!!!
I really liked it and I was so surprise of the result of people that go bowling... (internationally) They are around 95000000 bowling players. Here beneth my intruducction I have some very important facts:

Before the pins where reset by teenagers manually, thanks gos now there is a machine that makees that very quikly. This is a very tecnological game even though you don´t realise.
There is all a long process of resting the pins that can be made in seconds using this invention. (It´s not very new new).
Now chek out my quik notes:
About the machine:
. It is very fast
. It does not stop working
. The invention is cheap
.Doesn´t waste alot of power

The pins are mostly whiote with red stripes. They are made form a very hard rock that for the ball cause it is so heavy it won´t brak them and they will not fell apart.

About the system:
The (A2) locates the pins in the correct position and snatches them up while a sweeper cleans the floor for the player to keep playing. The pins are plased in ther same way as the player had left them. Then the pins separte from the ball, a belt sends the pins to the top of the machine were they drop into a metal tray called a turn around pin. Then comes the last try for the player. The sweeper cleans every remaining pins. And them the next player comes. Usually tehy give you 2 times for you to throw your ball.

PS: Last Saturday we had Vicky´s birthday and we wnt to play bowling. We had so much fun!!!

Hi Miss Florence,
When you through the ball, and it goes to a determined position, there is a sensor that tells the A2 to go preparing itself to get the pins that are left, get them up some seconds while the sweeper cleans the place in which the pins will be placed. This machine is a robot. There is also a camera that takes a picture. Automatically when you already threw your second and last shot, the sweeper goes and cleans all the pins that are left. Then, the A2 gets the pins and makes them to be put on the metal tray in which it turns around the pins and they are put on their right position. The ball goes by an elevator to a tube in which it is taken to the machine in which the balls are. There is like an S and the ball goes up and you can grab it. All this can be done in more or less 9 seconds. You don't even notice when you are playing bowling all this because it's so fast that you don't see it, that's what only machines can do!
See you,

Hi Miss Florence
This video is about that 95.000.000people around the world play bowling. In older years teenagers used to reset pins by hand but in this times we have machines that can only do it for 9.2 seconds!!!When the ball passes an electronic eye,a camara takes a picture and sents the information to the score board. The A2 located the standing pins and snatched them up wile a sweper clears the pin decker fallen ones. A belt send the pins to the top of a machine when they droped into a metal tray called a turn around pins. Then the player only have one chance more. And then it continues the game.I learn a lot of this.

There are 95000000 people go to play bowling to the bowlers!! Before they reseted the pins by hand, but it was very stresing to do it every throw. But the A2 is cheaper, does not use so many electricity and it resets all the pins in 9.2 seconds! The ball makes it way through an elevator and rolls along a down slope tunnel and the gravity sends it back to the player, at the en of the shaft, the ball pases through a series of motorized rollers send up the ball up through this S shaped curve. While the pins separete from the ball and a belt sends them to the top of the machine where they drop into a silver tray called a turn around path. The weight of the pins body make them drop, body first to the pan and they go to the distrybutor wheel. Each time a pin drops, it pushes a cluch which moves the carrusel to the next possition ready to take the next pin. And all this happens in aproximatly the same time you take to tie your shoes. When they make the last shot with the ball, the sweeper sweeps any pin that is standing.

Hi Miss Florence
This video is showing us how machines work
these machines are incredible because before it was invented teenagers that went bowling had to put the pins back on there own but more people started playing so this had to change so they invented this machine that :
work faster
dosen't suck up so much energy
they get the pins ready in only 9.2 seconds

this works like this :
first they throw this ball at the wooded pins and when the ball pases the electronic eye two things will occur first the relay switch will tell A2 will start getting busy . then a picture will be taken by a camera and it will be send the data to the score board. After that the pins will be put back in the same place they were before.

This is a great machine !!!!!!
I never new there was so much technology behind a bowling game!!!!!!

Hello Miss Florence!
I got very surprised when I heard that 95,000,000 people thrown a ball in one whole year and billions and billions of pins are thrown.
I can't believe that before teenagers had to do all this with their own hands. I would be quite boring. I'm glad that now we can have this technology that let's us do this quicker.
This are some facts about this machine:
- It is fast.
- Cheep to use.
- It is about to turn 50.
- It can sweep up and rack a set of pins in 9.2 second. It is incredible!!!!
- Doesn't suck a lot of power.
- It has 4.000 moving parts.
- Pins are made of wood.

How it works:
When the ball passes through the digital line, it activated a sensor which tells the machine to atart working (Organizing the pins), and simultaneously a camera takes a picture of the pins which remained standing and sends the picture or data to the score board. Then the machine or A2 locates the remaining pins and picks them up while the sweeper sweeps the thrown pins to their deck. Afterwards the collected pins are put down again in their exact same place as they were before. Inside the machine, in the deck, the pins are separated from the ball sending either ones to their own tunnel. The pins are sent to the top of the machine where they are dropped in the turn around pan letting them fall all in the same position. Meanwhile the ball is sent to the bowler by the A2. The ball passes through an elevator which then drops the ball into a tunnel where the ball will fall by gravity until it reaches the S shape tunnel.

Hi Florence,
I can´t believe that 9,500,000 people all over the world play bowling!!!!, and also we knock down pins year after year after year.
People had to do it by hand but the bowling players had to wait a lot. But now we have a lot of technology so we have A2, it doesn´t need a lot of power, but the most important thing is that it is faster. The A2 can sweep pins in 9.2 seconds!!!. When the ball passes the electronic eyle (or how it is written) two things happen. The first thing is that a relay switch tells the A2 to get busy, while the camera snaps a picture and send the picture to the score board. The Second, the A2 locates the standing pins and snatches it up, while a swiper clears the pin deck of fallen ones, then the same pins are stranded in the exact position the ball had left them.
The ball takes its weight in an elavator, and from there it rolls a long a small fast tunnel, as gravity sent it back to the player. At the end the ball passes an S shaped curve. It all happens at the same time it takes you tie your shoes.

Hello Miss Florence
I could understand that
1. Teenangers years ago used to reset pins their hands
2. Know days robots or machines reset pins and not only that they to send the score to a television and they bring the ball again to you.
3. when the ball passes a laser a photo is takened to the score and it is send to the score board or tv. A belt sends the pins to the top of the were they are dropped into a machine that goes round and round. Then the ball seperates from the pins and it goess into an underground passage and then goes up through a machine with form of a S and there the ball is
4. All this happens in aproximatly 9 seconds.

Hi Miss Florence!

Wow! I never thought about it but there are 95.000.000 (aproximatedley) people that go to play Bowling every year! Before, teenagers resseted the pins by hand, but that left bowlers waiting for the next game. But then appeared a robot that is called the A2: it is cheaper, does not use so many electricity and it resets all the pins in 9 (or 9.2) seconds! The ball makes it way through an elevator and rolls along a slope (kind of a tunnel) and the gravity sends it back to the bowler, at the end of the Shaft, the ball pases through a series of electronic rollers that send up the ball up through a S shape curve. While the pins separete from the ball and a belt sends them to the top of the machine where they drop into a silver tray called a turn around path. The weight of the pin’s body (the down-part of the pin) makes it drop, body first so that they land correctly to the distributor wheel. Each time a pin drops, it pushes a clutch which moves the distributor wheel to the next position ready to land the next pin. And all this happens in (aproximatedley) the same time you take to tie your shoes. When they make the last shot with the ball, the sweeper sweeps any pin that is remaining on the floor.
Thanks for the video! Interesting!

HI MISS FLORENCE THIS IS WHAT I FOUND OUT:
NOT LONG AGO TEENAGERS USED TO RESET THE PINS BY HAND BUT IT LEFT RESTLESS BOWLERS WAITING FOR THE NEXT SHOT. NOW THEY USE THESE ROBOT EHO NEVER STOPS WORKING. IT IS CHEAP, DOSENT NEED TOO MUCH POWER AND IT IS FAST. IT TAKES OUT THE PINS IN 9.2 SECONDS WITH FOUR THOUSAND MOVING PARTS.WHEN THE BALL PASSES THE ELECTRONIC EYE ONE THING HAPPENS: A CAMERA SNAPS A PICTURE AND SENDS THE DATA TO THE SCOREBOARD.THEN IIT LOCATES THE STANDING PINS AND SNATCHES THEM UP WHILE A SPEEPER CLEARS THE DECK. THE PINS ARE THEN PUTTEN IN THE EXACT POSITION THEY WERE BEFORE. a BELT SENDS THE PINS TO THE TOP OF THE MACHINE. WHILE ALL THAT HAPPENS THE MACHINE TAKES THE BALL BACK TO THE BOWLER. IT ALL HAPPENS IN ABOUT THE TIME IT TAKES TO TIE YOUR SHOES. WHEN SENSURESON THE PIN DECK DETECT THAT THERE ARE NO MORE PINS LEFT IT SENDS A MESSAGE TO THE DISTRIBUTOR WHEEL TO RELEASE THE PINS AND THERE IT RESETS.

Hi Miss Florence
WOW¡¡¡¡¡
95 million people play bowling¡¡ It's really amazing.I didn't knew it was so famous. How strange that teen agers had to put well the pins by hand and it said that it wasn't so long ago¡¡. This also shows the evolution of technology thorought the years. What easy that is all now¡¡ The robot never stops working what job must had been to invent that.

Oh, how sincronized is all that, the robot knows exactly what to do and in only 9.2 seconds¡¡.The pin ceter waits for its que, when the ball passes an electronic eye, a camera takes a pictures and sents the data to the score board. All that is really great. When I play bowling, I always thought how would that be. From today , every time when I play Bowling I will try to remember this kind of strange procediar. I thought that pins where of a weak plastic and now I know that they are of hard rock and go at twenty miles per hour. A belt sends the ball up and it goes up until reaching that machine where the person is .
It also has a strange kind of eye that takes a picture and that sends to the screen the score the person had done.
It is really amazing to see and learn how all this procediar works.
See You,
I hope you find my priestly work

Hi Florence:
This video is about:
More than 95million people all over de world play this game
.Not long ago teenagers used to reaccept this pins by hand but that left restless bowlers
Waiting for the next shot .The robot that does all this never stops working; it’s cheap to run it doesn’t need a lot of power and its fast. The machine can sweep up the set of pins in about 9.2 seconds this with just 4 thousand moving parts!!! Impressive! How it works? A typical throw will launch this 60 pound ball into pins made from hard rock at over 20 miles per hour the pin setter waits for its cue. When the ball passes an electronic eye two things happen:
A relay switch tells the tue to get busy. While a camera snaps a picture and send the data to the starboard the Tue locates the standing pins, snatches them up while a sweeper cleans the pin deck. The same pins are left in the exact place where the ball left it back in the pin area the bowler pins separates the pins from the ball. Belt sends the pins to the top of the machine where they drop into a metal tray called a turn around pan. The weight of the pin makes the bottom drop first so they roe side up into the disturber wheel each time a pin lodes it tributes a coach wich moves the carrosel in to the next position ready to take the next pin while that’s going on the a tue gets the ball back to the bowler the ball goes threw an elevator and from there it roles threw a tunnel. It all happens in about the same time that it takes to tie your shoe.

Hello Miss Florence

Compulsery Work:

95000000 perople play bowling. PInsweeper sweeps up the pins. When the ball passes an electronical eye a switch tells the A2bet bussy while a cmara sends the data to the score board. A2 locates the standing pins, knotches them up while a sweeper cleans the pins thrown out and then the pins are placed in the same position .Meanwhile the fallen pins separate from the ball and a belt sends the pins to the top of a machine were they are dropped to a turn around pan. THe belts makes it drop to theturn around wheel straight up to the distributive wheel. When a pin load a trigger clutch to move to the carosel into the next position to take the next pin. MEanwhile the ball goes back to the bauler which makes its way through and elevator and an underground tunnel. It happens in 9.2 seconds. in the second shot when the ball pasess the eye the sweeper sweeps the pins standing. A sensor detects that there are no ramaining pins. So it sends a message to the distributive wheel to release the pins so the nex´t person throws the ball and all this happens again and again....

Hello
This video talked us about the bowling machine and how it worked. I liked whe nit said that it all hapened fast, at the same time and that it didn't consume so much energy. What I liked that the video said was that the ball when it was going back to the place were the person could grave it, was that with the gravetiy the ball went in a direction and reached it's place it was fun to see it. There are some parts i didnt understand.

Dear Florence:

I loved the video. I thought robots were like the ones in movies. I never knew that machines that performed this kind of work were called robots!

I loved the part where the ball goes all the way back like a rollercoaster.

I wonder what other things robots do? Is the washing machine a robot as well?

According to Wikipidia Robots tend to do some or all of the following: move around, operate a mechanical limb, sense and manipulate their environment, and exhibit intelligent behavior, especially behavior which mimics humans or other animals.

They are great but I still like the movie robots more, special R2D2 (arturito) of Star Wars.

Hello miss florence:
WOW miss florence 95,ooo,ooo people go bowling,!!!ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!
wow on this video, it says that teenagers put oll the bowling pins up again, wow how did the technologi take over. nowadays some kind of mashinari puts the bowling pins up again.!!not like those poor teenagers that worked so hard.I heard that this kind of mashinary can lift up and put again in order all the pinss in just 9.2 seconds!!!IT IS INCREADIBULL!!!
And I also heard that there is a sort of camara and sensor that sences the bowling ball, and when the people I don´t now scored m... 5 pins the sensors or some part of the mashinary puts them on the board that tell´s you your score.OH and a belt grabs the pins and drag them to the top, and they drop the bowling pins into a metal tray called a "TURN AROUND PIN".OH then it goes to the distribuidor wheel. The "a2" gets the ball bak to the boller as soon as posible the ball makes it way on a sort of elevating thing, and there it sends it back to were you get the bowling balls to play more bowling.
Well there it is the mashinery of the bowling game.

Hello Miss Florence,
I dont belive 95000000 people play bowling in all the world!!!!!!
When you through the ball, and it goes to a position, there is a sensor that tells the A2 to go preparing itself to get the pins that are left, it gets them up some seconds while the sweeper cleans the place in which the pins will be placed. The machine is a robot. There is a camera that takes a picture. Simoultaneously when you already threw your second shot, the sweeper goes and cleans all the pins that are left. After that, the A2 gets the pins and makes them to be put on the metal tray in which it turns around the pins and they are put on their right position. The ball goes by a kind of elevator to a tube in which the ball is taken by gravity to the machine . There is a machine with an S and the ball runs up and the ball is at your service. All this movements the machines do are made in 9,50 seconds. WOW!!!

HHi miss florence! How sofi Lacabanne said, I also can`t belive the amount of peple per day that goes to play bowling.
HOW THIS MACHINE WORKS?

This machine is not any kind of machine. It is a kind of Robot that does his work very fast. This machine, dosn`t need a lot of power. The Robot can sweep and rak a set of pins in just 9.2 seconts. It is veeeeery fast!
It wight for its eque. When it pases the economyc eye, two things happen:
1) A relase Switch tells the agent to get busy

2) A camera snaps a picture and sends it to the score board.

The A2:
locates the standing pins and snatches them up while a sweeper cleans the floor for the player to keep playing.

Then the machine does something, to put the same amount of pins that are left, to put the pins that you didn`t through.

Keep on putting posts!

Miss Florence,
It seems very easy,, but is not!!, only think that there are only 4 steps, and ONLY in 9.2 secondss!!!!, is terriblie amazing. One think is 1 or2 minuts but 9.2 seconds is very very amazing!. In some way you can realize why is only in 9.2 minuts, is because there are only 4 steps. Even though there are "only" four steps, these steps may or may not be long. in this case it seems that there are not very long!, well from what I understood the steps are:
1. It takes the score, what I mean with that?, I mean, When the ball arrived to the machine, the machine sends a "message" to another machine, the another machine is where the people can see her/his own score. The message says the score that the person had got.
2. Then the machine pull up the pins that were not pulled back by the ball, and when the machine pulls tham up, at the same time the machine pulls out that where throun back, and then tha machine pull down again the pins that were not throun on the same place, so the player could have another try to pull them down.
3. When the player mades the 2nd try the balls that were not able to be troun back, are puled out by the machine, and the ball is sended to the place were the players are able to get the balls to play.
4. After that, theall the pins are returned to the sameplace so that another player could play.
Is also Amazing, that all this 4 steps are at " the same time" because there are so fast that we colud say thatthere are at the same time!!.
Well I liked learning about Bowlig.

The bowling works with a robot. When the bowling ball passes a camera detects it and send the data to a computer that counts the points. The pins that were throwed are put on a machine that separates the pins with the ball. The pins are left in a metal tray called Turn Around Pin Machine. The ball goes through a tunnel and then ready to play again. The pins are placed the same way as before and it gets ready for the second turn.

Hi Florence its hard to belive that 95000000 people go boling all over the world these are all the facts i got:

And then the next player comes.

Hi Miss Florence,
This video is fascinating. I thought that process was not as complex as I now see. A lot of people play bowling, 95 million, that in fact is a ver huge number. Before, teenagers used to reset the pins by hand, poor of them that was kind of boring, but now in time all this process is made by and it takes very little time (9.2 seconds) .
The robot never stops working, that impressive (he is a hardworker jajaj), It's cheap to run, It is fast and that makes the game go faster, I like that, it doesn't consume a lot of power and that is good for our ecosystem and it has about 4,000 moving parts.
It works like this, the ball hits the pin that is made from hard rock at 20 miles per hour. The pinceter waits for it's que, when the ball passes an electronic eye, two things happen, a relase tells A2 to get busy, while a camera snaps the picture and sends the information to the scoreboard(the screen were you see your results), the A2 locates the standing pins and snatches them up, and at the same time a sweeper cleans the floor. Then the pins re-appear where the player had left them. And the fallen pins separate from the ball and a belt sends the pins to the top of the machine where they drop in a metal tray called "The Turn Around Pin". Now it's already for the player to throw it's second opportunity. The player throws and the sweeper cleans the floor. Now it is time for another player.
See you tomorrow,

Hello Miss Florence:

Tis magine can reset the pins in less than 9 seconds! This robot uses alot of electricity. When you throw a sweaper removes all of the pins you had thrown, while a machine gets the pins to not be removed. Some time people used to remove the pins, and people went mad because they wanted to play. See you in class!!!

Hi Florence, I have copy past from the mail that I send you:
Not years ago teenagers had to reset the pins by hand. 95 billion people of all the world thought a ball of bowling. This robot machine never stops working. It is cheap to run and doesn't suck lot of power and its fast, it takes 9.2 seconds. A typical shot will bring most of the pins down made from hard wood. There is and electronic eye that makes two things: There is a camera that sends the score to the scoreboard and the A2 locates the standing pins pulls them up while a sweeper clears all the pins on the floor. The same pins will go back to the seem positions. The pins that were down goes to a place separated to the balls place. A belt sends the pins to the top of the machinist. They fall from there and the heavy part gets first to the place so it is looking upwards. Each time a pin gets in a hole in the rounding machine a clutch is activate and turns for the next pin. Simultaneously the ball goes to the bolder. The ball goes threw and elevator and from there it goes down threw a tunnel. As gravity sends it back to the play. The ball goes up throw a S shaped curve. It all happens while you are trying to tie your shoelaces. Sensors on the floor detects that there are no pins and sends that in formation to the distribution. It is smoothly and efficiently.

Hi florence,
Here is the the comment of bowling.
It was very interesting.
95,000,000 people throw balls every year. Before teenagers reseted the pins by hand, but it took them too much. Know some robots do that job. They are about to turn 50 and they never stop warking.
1. It is cheap to run.
2. Doesn`t need many power.
3. It is fast.
The robots can put up the pins in only 9.2 seconds. The ball weiths 60 pounds and each throw goes aproximatedly at 20 miles per hour. The pins are made of
hardrock maboe.
There is an electronic eye, when the ball passes trough it 2 things happen:
1. It tells the robot to get busy.
2. A camera takes a picture and it sends it to the score board.
The A2 locates the standing pins and snatches them up while a swiper clears the fallen ones. After that the standing pins go back to its place. The fallen pins seperate from the ball. A belt sends the pins to the top of the machine were they fall into another machine who takes them to the distributor weel.
While that happens the ball goes through a tunel back to the player. This all happens in about the time that you take to tie your shoes.
When you do the second shot the sweaper takes out all the left pins. A sensor sees there are no more pins so it sends a message to the distributor weel to realice all the new pins.

Hi Florence:

I am also impresed because 95000000 people go to play bowling!

- Years before, teenagers rested the pins by hand, but now there are special machines to do that work instead.
-It never stops working.
-It has 4.000 moving parts.
-Some of them can do this work in only 9.2 second.
-The invention is Cheap-
-When you throw the ball, there is a sensor that the to machine to get ready.
-The ball makes it way through an elevator and rolls along a down slope tunnel and the gravity sends it back to the player, at the en of the shaft, the ball pases through a series of motorized rollers send up the ball up through this S shaped curve.

Hi miss florence,
This video is about how bowling machines work. 95000000 people play bowling all over the world. When you throw a ball theres a sensor wich takes pictures and sends it to the score board. The pins drop into a mchaine wich puts the pins in the right place. When the machine is doing that a board spills the pins out of the place. The machine is fast, doesnt stop working aand it doesnt waste a lot of power. After that the ball thrown rolls to the boller an you can throw it again.

Hi Miss Florence,
It seems it´s very easy to do it, but is very difficult!

1. Think is 1 or 3 minutes but it is Orly 9,2 seconds ! It fantastic! More a less, in some way you can realice why is only in 9,2 minutes, because they only do 4 steps. Also, when the ball of bowling arrived to the machine, the machine sends a “message” to another machine, and the another machine is where the people cas see her or his own score. The message says the score that the pesron had got.

2.
Then the machine pull yp the pins that were not pulled back by the ball, and when the machine pulls them up, at the same time the machine pulls out that where thrown up, at the same time the machine pulls out that where thrown back, and then that machine pull down again the pins that were not thrown on the same place, so the player could have another try to pull them down.

3. When the player mades the 2nd try the balls that were not able to thrown back, are pulled out by the machine, and the ball is sended to the plae were the players are able to get the balls to play.

4. After that, all the pins are returned to the same place so that another player could play. Is also amazins, that all this 4 steps are at the same time! because there are so fast that we could say that there are at the same time!

Thank you very much for show us the video, it was fun !

Hi Miss Florence!

Its incredible that 95.000.000 people around all over the world play bowling. Some years ago teenagers did the job of organizing the pines and reseting each time somebody tw¡hrew a pine, now a day there are meder n robots that they do that for us.

These are the steps that the robot follows:

The ball passes threw an invisible eye (line) two things happen, 1st threw a radar the tell to the A2 to get busy then it takes a picture and it sends the results to the score-board then the A2 locates the standing pins and snatches them up while a sweeper clears the pin deck

A belt sends the pines to the top of the machine where they drop into a metal tray called a turnaround pan, and then it goes up to the bowling alley.

The Robot:

It’s fast
It never stops working
Is pretty cheap to run
It has 4.000 movable parts
It doesn’t waist a lot of energy

2. A camera snaps a picture and sends it to the score board. The pins are are left in the same way as they were before(the left overs of the through). Then the pins are separted from the ball and a belt sends the pins up to the top of the machine were they drop into a turn around pin(a metal tray). Then comes the final turn of the player. The sweeper cleans every remaining pins. And then the next player comes(The players in total have to through the ball 20 times).

Miss Florence,
Fifty years ago teenagers used to rearrange knocked pins in bowling clubs, leaving bowlers waiting. That was until the Brunswick A2 Automated Pin Setter took their place! No fancy software is involved in the mechanism that operates this efficient robot which is fast and cheap. Although it never stops working not much power is required to keep it going. The machine is composed by 4000 moving parts that run like a clock to keep the game going with no dead waiting periods. The cue that triggers the system is the charging ball running at 20 miles per hour being registered by the electronic detector before reaching the pins. This event triggers two things. First the relay switch activates the A2 wheel where pins will be loaded while a camera sends the score to the player’s board. Then the A2 locates any standing pins and snatches them up while a sweeper clears the fallen pins from the deck. The standing pins are subsequently set back on the same position in which they were left. While the player waits for his turn, the fallen pins are separated from the bowling ball in the pin area. A belt sends those pins to the top of the machine where they are dropped into a metal tray called: the turnaround pan. Afterwards, the pins are dropped right side up into the wheel as the system takes advantages of the laws of gravity (heavier things go to the bottom). Each time a pin is loaded, the wheel triggers a loch that guides a carrousel to the next position. Mean while, the AA2 returns the ball to the bowler by passing it through an elevator that takes it to a down slope tunnel. A series of motorized rollers carry the ball through an ‘S’ shaped curve. Once the player’s last shot is registered by the robot, the sweeper removes any pins that might have been left rendering a sharp clean deck. Sensors on the deck become aware that no pins are left sending then a message to the distributive wheel to release a new pin set.
Hope it was of use,
Makena.

Hi Florence,

You left me in astonishment I can't believe all that process happens in so short time! Loved this post!
Long time ago teenagers used to reset this pins by hand, but that left bowlers waiting for the next shot. This robot never stops working. It’s cheap to run, doesn’t suck much power and is very fast. They can pick a set of pins in just 9.2 seconds without software, just 400 moving parts that move like a clock. Pins are made of hard rock maple.
1.When the ball passes a electronic eye, which is located before the pins, two things happen, a machine tells the a-tu to get busy while a camera gets the data and send them to the score board.
2.The A-tu locates de pins and snatches them up while a swipper clears the pin deck of falling ones.
3.The same pins are then set back down in the exact position the ball had left them in.
4.Back in the pit area the fallen pins separate from the ball.
5.A belt sends the pins into the top of the machine, were they drop into a metal tray called a turn around pan.
6.The weight of the pin’s body makes it drop heavy part first into the pan, so they always load the right side up into the distributed wheel.
7.Each time a pin loads it titers a crutch which moves the carousel into the next position ready to take the next pin.
8.While all that is happening the a-tu gets the ball back to the boller a.s.a.p.
9.The ball makes it’s way to an elevator and from there it rolls along a down slope tunnel, as gravity sends it back to it’s player.
10.At the end of the shaft a series of motorerised rollers send the ball up the S shaped curve.
11.When the boller takes his last shot of the frame the sweeper clears any remaining pins.
12.Sensors on the pin deck detect that there is no more standing wood, so it sends a message to the distribuller wheel to realize the pins all ten of which are reset.

Hi Florence,
this is what I understud of the video.

About the pins

The bowling machine never stops working. It is fast. It works between 9.2 seconds. Just 4.000 moving parts. The pins are made of hard rock wood.
This is how it works
The pinsetter waits for its CYU. When the ball passes a electronic eye two things happen:
1.A realize tells the A2 to get busy
2.A camera takes a picture and sends the data to the score-board

The A2 locate the standing pins and snatch them up while a sweeper clears the pins that had fall. Then same pins are then set back to the position they were.

In the pin area:

The fallen pins separate from the ball. A bit sends the pins to the top of the machine were they drop into a metal chain call turner round pan. They always load right side up into distributive pider wheel. Each time a pin loads it chances the clack. This moves the carocel into the next position, ready to take the next thing. There is a sensor on the pin duct detected that there are no more pins. So it sends a message to the distributive wheel to relics the pins

About the ball and more

The A2 sends back the ball were the players are. It all happens in about the same time that you tie your shoes. It repeats and repeats all the time.

My opinion of the video!
When I go and play bowling I couldn’t see anything that is showing me in this video. I NEVER thought it could be like this but now I am seeing in this video how it works. It is a very interesting video and I learn a lot!

Bye Bye see you at school

hello florence,
95million people play bowling. Pin sweeper sweeps up these pins, thousands parts that run like a clock. When the ball is thrown and passes an electronic eye a switch tells the A2 get busy while a camera sends a picture data to the scoreboard. A2 locates the standing pins, Snatches them up while a sweeper cleanse the pins thrown out and then pins are placed in the exact same position. Meanwhile the fallen pins separate from the ball and belt sends the pins to the top of the machine were they drop to a turnaround pan so they load right side up to the distributive wheel. When a pin loads it makes a trigger clutch to move into the wheel into the next position, to take the next pin. Meanwhile the ball goes back to the bawler which makes it way in the time you tie your shoes. When the second shot is thrown the sweeper sweep the remaining pins. Sensors detects there aren’t any pins left so it send a message to the distributive wheel release the pins so they appear the pins to the next player.

Hi Florence,
It's really impressive to know how a bowling machine works.
95.000.000 go to play bowling all over the year. A while before people used to reset all the pins by hand. Now the A2 robot resets everything in 9,2 seconds, is cheap to run, doesn't use a lot of power and it's fast. It uses 4000 moving parts.
How it works:
The pinsetter waits for its cue.As the ball passes the electronic eye it tells the camera to snap a picture of how many pins are left. It also tells the A2 to start working. It lifts up the pins that are left sweeps the ones on the floor and puts the pins back in the exact position. The fallen pins separate from the ball and are sent through a belt into a metal tray. While that happens the ball is on it's way back to the player through an elevator, rolls through a down slope tunnel. At the end of it there is an s shaped curve.
It is very interesting to know.

Hi Miss Florence,
It's 950000 people play bowling around the world. Long time from now teenagers reset the pins themselvs. Any way now machines do all the work for us. These machines never stop picking up the pins. The machines don't use up a lot of power and they are really fast.It can sweep up and rack the pins in only 9.2 seconds. This is how it works: First well the ball gets to an electronic eye two diferent things happen. A switch tell the A2 to pick up the pins and place them back. While that happens a camera snaps the information and sends it to the score board. The pins are picked up and allways put in the same poscion. The bowling pins are always separated to the ball. The pins are sent with a belt to the top of the machine and then they drop in to a metal tray called a turn around pan. Then the load in the distribidor wheel. While the pin gets in its poscion the A2 gets the ball back to the baller ASAP. The ball goes to an elevator and then rolls all the way to its place. To get up there its sends the ball up an "s" shaped curve. All this happens in such a short time!

•It work between 9.2 seconds
•Just 4.000 moving parts
•They make a poses that makes your score get to the board
•The A2 looks for the standing pins and take them up wile a sweeper clears the pins that feel to the floor
•Then the pins that didn’t fall come back with a machine
•In the pins area:
The machine looks for the pins that are up and gets them and take them up wile a sweeper cleans the floor (like I explained upwards)

Hi Miss Florence,
This video tells us that aproximately 95.000.000 people of all around the world go to play bowling. Many years ago people, specially teenagers used to reset the pins by hand but by now there is a non-stop robot that does this work. The Brunswick A2 pin setter can sweep up and rack a set of pins in just 9.2 seconds. It works like this: The pinceter waits for its quew, when the ball passes the electronic eye, 2 tings happen, a realase switch tells the agent to get busy while a camera snaps a picture and sends the data to the score board. The A2 locates the standing pins and snatches them up while a sweeper clears the pin deck of fallen ones. The the pins are put in the same way as they were in the normal position. Then the pins separte from the ball, a belt sends the pins to the top of the machine were they drop into a metal tray called a turn around pin. After that, it goes to the distributor wheel. The A2 gets the ball backk to the baller ASAP. The ball goes down through an elevator.

I ALSO WANT TO SAY THAT I LEARNT A LOT ABOUT THIS BECAUSE WHEN I GO AND PLAY BOWLING I SEE IT LIKE ANOTHER GAME OR SPORT BUT WHILE WATCHING THEESE VIDEO I LEARN THINGS THAT MOST OF THE PEOPLE DONT KNOW AND IM VERY PROUD OF IT.

See you tomorrow, kisses, Michelle.

The video says that 95000000 people all over th world go to play bowling. Some years ago you had to reset the pins with your own hands but now there is a robot called A2 that can change the pins in 9.2 seconds. There is an electronic eye somewhere in the bowling that tells the robot how many times did the ball pass also there is a camera that takes pictures and sends the data to the score board. A belt sends the pins up to the top of the machine where they are droped into a metal tray called "turn around pin." There it goes to the distributor wheel. The machine gets the ball back to the boller ASAP. The ball gets into an ellevator and then it rolls along in a down slope tunnel as gravity sends it to an other elevator that is like an "S" and it takes it back to play

Hi Florence,
this is what I have understood....
When you throw the ball (which can weigh 6 to 16 pounds) it passes an electronic eye and two things happen:
-the A2 machine starts working
-a camera takes a picture and sends information to the score board.
How does the A2 machine work:
It starts by locating the standing pins, and picks them up. Then a sweeper cleans the deck in the case there are any fallen pins.
The pins that were picked up are then set back in the same position.
What the player can't see is that the fallen pins are separated from the ball, and then taken back to the top of the machine and on to a tray. Because of their weight they load on the right position.
Meanwhile the ball goes back to the player: it first goes up thanks to an elevator and then falls by gravity and rolls back to be played again.
This all happens very fast, 9.2seconds for a set of pins, and it seems to be very efficient!
Bye
Antonio

Hi miss Florence
I cant believe 95000000 persons go to play bowling sll over the world.
Thats a lot of people.
Years before teenagers used to used to reset pins by hand but in this times we have machines that can do it at 9.2 seconds. It is amazing. When the ball is thrown theres a kind of eye machine that takes a picture and sends your score to the score board. The A2 snatches the pins up while a sweeper cleans them. A belt send the pins to the top of a machine when they droped into a metal tray that is called a turn around pins.
The player has only 2 chances.
Its amazing how this machine works.
Lots of Love

hi miss florence
I couldn´t believe 95.000.000 people play bowling in the world! In the past, teen agers used to reset the pins by hand, but over the last 50 years a mashine is used, called A2. It never stops working,it doesn´t use a lot of power and it is fast.It can get a set of pins in 9.2 seconds and it has 4.000 moving parts. An electronic laser pases in front the pins and detectes when the ball is coming, it turns on the machine and sents the information to the score board. The A2 gets the pins and snatches them up, while a swipper clears them up, afterwards the pins are located in they original posision. The pins are separated from the ball and are dropped into the turnaround pin, they always fall in the same position beacuse of their wheit. The A2 also throuws the ball back to the baller by elevators.
All this happens too fast, and the machine is very efficient.I didn´t know all this thinks about bouling.

Wow! 95.000 people? well thats a lot. Before when you went to play bowling some teenagers had to reset the pins by hand, today theres a robot that does all the work. This incredible machine can sweep and rack the pins in 9 secnds. Theres is an electronic eye and a camara that sends the pictures it takes to the data of the score board, all this happens when the ball passes by the electrionic eye. There is a belt that sends the pins to the top of the machine and it throughs it into a metal tray that has the name of "turn around pin." From there it goes to a wheel that distributes the pin. An A2 gets the ball back to the boller ASAP. The ball goes to an elevator and there it goes along in a down slope and it ends again to the play. This is super complicaded but so fast. Im impressed.
Cool video,

Hello Miss Florence
95.000.000 people all over the world go and play boling and knock down millios of pins , every year.
Teenagers had to put the boling pins in its order , but that was too long, and the bowlers wanted to play !! But now there is a robot that does this very fast. The robot can sweep up a set of pins in just 9.2 seconds. It works like this : the ball goes trough a electronic eye and a camera sends the oinformation to the score board. And after that a belt sends the pins to the top of the machine where they drop into a metl tray called " turn around pin". The A2 ( a mchine ) ¿getrs the ball to the bolller .
WOW this is a very interesting video
now when il go to play boling il be much more imressed

For me its very impresive because it is so fast and you have to throw a ball so that the machine does all that and its also so big and impresive.

This roboy can sweep up and rack a set of pins in just 9.2 seconds! When the bowling ball passes a little camera detected it and sends all the data to the score board computer. The pins are put in the sam way as the people that played had left them.

It is amaizing because the macine has self inteligence!!
It calculates how many pins where thrown down and puts the other ones in 9.2 seconds.
I also cant belive that it is cheap and doesent wast alot of power, and never stops working!
And another inpresive thing is that it has 4,000 molving parts

The sweeper cleans every remaining pins. And them the next player comes.

Hi Florence,
Wow, 95 million people play bowling in a year.I can`t believe that the machine never stops working.I didn`t know that there was a laser.I thought the machine used a lot of power. It`s impossible that the machine makes all that in 9.2 seconds. But I believe it.
Thank you Florence because of showing us this wonderful video about bowling because I learnt many things I never knew.

Hi miss Florence,
I didn t know that 95000000 peoples all over the world play bowling. Not long ago teenagers used to reset the pims by hand, but that was very slow. But a new robot was invented and it doesn t stop working and is cheap to obtain. It uses a little amount of power and is very fast. Ther are 4000 moving parts. This robot can sweep up and rack a set of pins in just 9.2. This robot waits for a signal that it is when the ball passes through a electronic aye, then cames the camera that takes a picture that sents the data to the score board. I am surprised withe this video they are very interesting things.
