It was very difficult to understand what the astronauts were saying. Their voices weren't clear. I could undestand that when they entered in the gravity zone the astronauts felt hevier and their helmets got hevier.

I think that they work together in the way that friction makes the rocket not to go down so fast that it is going to sestroy, and the gravity makes the rocket go down, because if not they would need to have an engine prepared to have something that makes you go down.

Hi Miss Florence, I realized when gravity appeared because one astronaut said his helmet was getting heavier. The landing was very calm, it was impressive that the shuttle didn't go on fire because of the friction (shuttles don't have wheels).

WOW!!!!! I can´t belive Friction & Gravity working together.
It is a hole prosess it is like this:
When the shuttle enters again to the atmosphear and the gravity puts it´s job in work it pulls the rocket down while fricition is trying to slow down. As we saw in our Physics Folder pages 19 and 20 it talked about what was friction and what was it job.

We can finally see our two resent topics join! It was amazing!!! How each one did something that helped the other. First I didn’t understood so well the video so I had to watch it two times. You couldn’t see very clear because the screen was mostly black. Finally when I saw it for the second time I understood it. It was incredible the part when the plane landed. You could see what the pilots saw and how they planned to land.

The video was amazing, really incredible. It started with the astronauts and the engine began to catch on. It showed the place were astronauts where. There were two of them already set up, sitted in a little place and a little flashing by. In the place they had lots of machines and televisions were there were some videos in green. When they are prepared, a type of scan prepares all the machine for the mision there are gonna take. When it starts to move, you really notice it. There lots of green things and I steel don't know what they are.

In this video there is a kind of "mixture" between the gravity and the friction.
When they enter the gravity zone, gravity makes everything heavier and pull space shuttle to the centre of the world with its power, while friction is using his power to slow down the rocket. Simply amazing.
