That is so interesting. I never knew water droplets bounced over and over again like that because of the air trapped beneath them. It would seem as if the drop was held together by a force and could not actually wet anything until it breaks. It reminds me of a capsule. I wonder, would water droplets still bounce if they were to fall on oil instead of water, seeing as how there would still be air trapped beneath them but water and oil do not mix?
